Charles M. Blow, a columnist for the NYtimes, wrote an
editorial concerning the income inequality and the inefficiency of political figures to solve the disparity in wealth. Blow cites a gap between rich and poor as a critical sign of the America's need for a change in operation. "If denial is a river, it runs through doomed societies", says Blow. He also critiques stance of the Republican Party and their ever growing disdain for the poor.
